Founded in the 1960’s out of a desire to help those most in need in the local community Uniting Care Harrison is one of the leading providers of housing and community services in the Eastern Metropolitan area of Melbourne, Australia.
With the capability to assist and/or accommodate more than 450 people at any one time with services ranging from assisting young people living on the streets to providing people with a disability with the skills to live independently, Uniting Care Harrison’s services help change lives.
A recent shoes drive organised by one of our Shoe Stops, Complete Feet in Wantirna, along with a local Primary School, has seen the delivery of 454 pairs of shoes to the Uniting Care Harrison community, and they are happy to receive more.
