We’re thrilled to be the second recipient of Jetstar’s Flying Start grant. Shoes for PlanetEarth received $15,000 cash, which we’ll spend on a much-needed industrial washing machine to clean donated shoes. It also mean we can allow “Mona”, our cement mixer, (named after marathon runner Steve Moneghetti) to retire from shoe washing duties!

Jetstar has also provided us with $15,000 worth of travel. This will enable us to transport shoes to those in need at the various ports where Jetstar flies to.

A BIG thank you to Jetstar’s judging panel: television host Gorgi Coghlan, radio  presenter, Jules Lund, Jetstar Australia and New Zealand CEO, David Hall, pilot Jeremy Schmidt and Jetstar Customer Service Officer, Francesca Deidda for selecting us so we can continue to help those in need take confident strides forward in life.
