Nick started his professional career as a plumber and now works as an engineer with his own consulting company.  He has always supported charities through volunteer work and regular financial donations.  Nick was a runner for over twenty years, completing in excess of 100 marathons, 2 Iron man Triathlons and numerous ultra-distance events. Andy Drayton
Andy Drayton Fundraiser

With intermittent involvement in running events – largely influenced by the female contingent on the sideline – Andy understands the cost of working with the wrong footwear. He has seen the change in quality of life that “Shoes” has brought to the less fortunate both in Australia and overseas and has come on board to help promote corporate sponsorship and logistical support. What Andy lacks in keen interest for running, he makes up for in spades with humour and the desire to help those in need.

Brad SmithersEvents

Brad was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. He is a reformed accountant and in 2010 celebrated his 50th birthday by competing in a gruelling trail race, where he observed a genuine ‘fellowship’ with fellow trail runners as well as a strong connection to nature. He is a firm believer in ‘Pay it Forward,’ repaying good things done to him to others, instead of the originator of the good deed, with the ultimate aim to make our world a better place to live. Shoes for Planet Earth epitomises this concept in a very practical way.
